"Kamara are a West African Drum and Dance Troupe, its members come from Stoke on Trent, Chester, Leek, Guinee Conakry, West Africa, Barbados and London. They play the wonderful music from Guinee, West Africa, which is at times, fast and powerful and at times, melodic and beautiful, their performances can include a variety of authentic African instruments including drums, kora, balafon, bolon, gongoma, vocals, acrobatics and dance."
They aim to represent all that is beautiful about West African music.
Members of Kamara have performed worldwide and have a wealth of performance experience which all add to the Kamara experience.
